Yesterday was the end of the New York City 48 Hour Film Project. After some processing, the films will be presented this weekend at the NYU Cantor Film Center.
The filmmakers worked through the night Friday and Saturday to get their films made. Many reported being very tired from the lack of sleep. A few reported being tired from having to run 10 blocks to get their films in on time. Some contestants didn't run quite fast enough as a few submissions were not on time. These films will not be eligible to win Best of New York City (the ultimate prize) but they will be screened and allowed to win audience awards.
