It is a wonderful tradition at West Brooklyn that every year we take a day off from regular classes so that our students can interact and learn from members of the community about what their jobs are like and what paths they took to get there. Our students get all dressed up and seem to love the entire day. They all transform into respectful, polite, mature adults (at least for the day). It is the closest thing our school does to a prom, but it is far more productive. It was also our day to send off those students who have completed their journey through high school. Congrats to them.
