48 Hour Film Project After Party

Every time I am in a bar with my camera, I find it hard to resist taking pictures of people. So when I have to attend the after parties for the 48 Hour Film Project 3 nights in a row, I tend to go picture crazy. Luckily, this almost always produces some really nice images.

The shot above is my favorite example so far. The model is Linnea Sage and she has been helping with the Project. She was a great sport and let me shoot her all night. This is quite a tall order considering we are in a dark bar and my flash is blindingly bright. Throw in the faces I make as I work to adjust my lighting and it can be a rather uncomfortable position to be in.

Here is another version of the same shot with different cropping. I personally like the other one because it feels more intimate.

Hopefully, since I have 2 more nights with her, I will get more great images.
